We booked a transfer from Phong Nha to Hue and had Loc Nguyen as our personal driver for the day. I couldn’t have been happier with the choice of transfer as Loc Nguyen was friendly, very knowledgeable of the area and went out of his way to take us and stop at some of the sights along the way. He made sure we felt comfortable and stressed that the trip could take as long as we wanted (within reason) depending on how long we wanted to stop for at each destination. Overall the trip took about 3.5 hours which included numerous stops for photos and of course the breathtaking Hai Van Pass. The car was a new SUV which was very comfortable. It cost about 114 USD which although seemingly costly was worth the price. Thoroughly recommend. Thanks Loc.
This was a great way to travel between Phong Nha and Hue, enabling my friend and I to see several sites on the way. Our driver was professional, punctual, polite and made sure we had a great time and added his own insight and local knowledge when appropriate. The pre-booking process was smooth and professiona. I was slightly cautious about the payment process, which was via credit card and involved having to share photo ID. However, despite my reservations it all went without any issues.
All in all, a very excellent service and would definitely recommend.
