Dong Dinh Art Museum in Da Nang is the first private museum licensed to be built in Central Vietnam, invested by Mr. Doan Huy Giao. He is a poet, journalist and director. On June 19, 2003, the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Da Nang City signed a decision approving the detailed master plan for construction of Dong Dinh private museum. The allowed construction area is 10,000m2. This museum is located upstream of But stream, on Son Tra peninsula, Tho Quang ward, Son Tra district, Da Nang City.
